湖西大学（韓国）を訪問し、学生交流を行いました！

本学学生が、9月15日（金）に韓国 湖西大学（Hoseo University）天安牙山キャンパスを訪問し、学生交流を行いました。

湖西大学は韓国に4つのキャンパス、7つの学部を有し、学生数は約17,000人を誇る私立大学です。
「ベンチャー精神と社会貢献の強化」を掲げ、社会に必要とされる人材の育成を目指されています。

湖西大学では、両大学学生が英語で自己紹介を行った後、キャンパス内の食堂にて昼食をいただきました。
韓国の伝統料理である、丸鶏を使った参鶏湯に舌鼓を打ちつつ、湖西大学学生との交流を深めました。

午後からは、交流会として、本学の三山寿紀先生による英語での進行のもと、両大学による英語プレゼンテーションを実施。
本学の学生たちは4チームに分かれ、「立地」、「大学の魅力」、「日本のpop culture」、「大学生のリアル」について英語でプレゼンテーションを行いました。
動画をふんだんに採り入れた説明スライドやユーモアを交えた英語プレゼンテーションは、湖西大学の学生や先生にも非常に好評で、交流会が大いに盛り上がりました。

その後キャンパス内を見学させていただき、夕食も共にし、別れを惜しみながら湖西大学を後にしました。
学生たちは、日本や韓国での再会を約束し、非常に有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。

初めは緊張した様子の学生たちも、互いの国のエンターテイメント、文化やSNSなどの話題をきっかけに、英語、韓国語や日本語を交えて楽しく交流することができました。
コミュニケーションを行う上で、言語はツールにしか過ぎず、相手のことや、その国のことを知りたいという気持ち、そして自分の国のことや自分の意見を伝えようとする気持ちが大切だということを感じました。
一方で、やはりツールである言語があるからこそ伝わることもあります。今回の交流をきっかけに、英語や韓国語をもっと勉強したいという声が学生から多く聞かれたことは非常に喜ばしいことです。

この経験を糧に、学生たちがもっと色々なことに挑戦し、交流の輪を広げていってくれることを祈っています。
今回の訪問を受け入れてくださった湖西大学の教職員の皆さま、学生の皆さんには感謝申し上げます。

한국의 호서대학교를 방문하여, 학생 교류를 하였습니다 !

우리대학 학생들은, 9월15일(금)에 한국 호서대학교 천안 아산 캠퍼스를 방문하여, 학생 교류를 하였습니다.

호서대학교는 4개의 캠퍼스, 7개의 학부가 있으며, 학생 수는 약 17,000명의 사립대학교 입니다.
{벤쳐 정신과 사회 공헌의 강화}를 내걸며, 사회에서 필요로 하는 인제를 육성하고 있습니다.

먼저, 호서대학교 이 성희 교수님의 영어 진행으로 시작하여, 양 대학 학생들이 영어로 자기소개를 한 후, 캠퍼스 내의 식당에서 점심 식사를 같이 하였습니다.

한국의 전통 요리인 맛있는 삼계탕에 감동하며, 호서대학교 학생들과의 교류를 깊이 하였습니다.

오후부터는 교류회를 개최하여, 오사카 상업대학의 미야마 교수의 영어 진행으로, 양 대학 학생들의 영어 프레젠테이션을 하게되었습니다.

우리대학 학생들은 4개의 팀으로 나뉘어, {입지} {대학의 매력} {일본의 팝 컬쳐} {대학생의 리얼} 에 대해 영어로 프레젠테이션을 하였습니다.

프레젠테이션이 끝난 후, 캠퍼스 견학과 저녁 식사도 같이 하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈으나, 기차 시간이 다가와 아쉽게도 이별을하게 되었습니다.

학생들은 한국과 일본에서의 재회를 약속하였으며, 유익한 시간을 보낼수가 있었습니다.

처음에는 긴장하던 학생들도, 호서대학교 학생들의 적극적인 리드로 인해, 서로의 나라의 엔터테인먼트, 문화와 SNS등의 화제를 얘기하면서, 영어, 한국어, 일본어로 즐거운 교류의 시간을 보냈습니다. 우리 학교 학생들이 많은 경험과 지식을 얻을 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었습니다.

커뮤니케이션을 함에 있어서는 언어는 도구 밖에는 되지 않지만, 상대방의 이야기나 나라에 대해 알고 싶다는 마음과,
자기 나라에 대해서 자기의 말로 전달하려고 하는 마음, 이 두가지의 마음이 절실히 필요한 것이라는 것을 느끼게 되었습니다.
반면에, 도구로서의 언어로도 소통하는 점도 많았습니다.
이번 교류를 계기로, 우리학교의 대부분이 영어나 한국어를 더욱 더 공부 해야겠다는 생각을 다짐한 것은 참으로 기쁜 일이었습니다.

이 경험을 바탕으로 학생들이 더욱 더 여러가지 일에 도전하여, 교류의 범위를 넓혀 가기를 기원 하겠습니다.

이번 방문을 도와주신 호서대학교의 김 재진 교수님, 이 성희 교수님, 이 원희 교수님, 정 훈 교수님, 그리고 학생 여러분께 깊이 감사 말씀 드리겠습니다.

본 프로그램은 {GET트라이알}{BP해외연습}의 일환으로 진행하였습니다.
{GET트라이알} {BP해외연습}은 사전 및 사후 연수를 포함한 해외 연수 프로그램 입니다. 올 해에는 한국 4박 5일 방문이였습니다.

We visited Hoseo University in Korea for student exchange!

On September 15 (Fri.), our energetic students visited the Cheonan Asan
Campus of Hoseo University in South Korea for a student exchange program.

Hoseo University is a private university with four campuses, seven faculties, and have approximately 17,000 students in Korea.
The university aims to nurture human resources needed by society under the slogan of "Strengthening the Venture Spirit and
Social Contribution."

At Hoseo University, students from both universities introduced themselves in English and then had lunch at the campus cafeteria.
We enjoyed the traditional Korean dish, Sangyetang, which is made from whole chickens, and deepened exchanges with Hoseo
University students.

In the afternoon, an exchange session was held with English presentations by both universities, facilitated in English by
Prof. Miyama of OUC. The Students from both universities were divided into four teams and gave presentations in English
on "location," "university attractions," "pop culture in our country," and "real life of university students." The OUC students'
explanatory slides with plenty of video and humorous English presentations were very well received by the Hoseo University
students and professors, and the social gathering was a great success!

After that, we toured the campus with Hoseo University students, enjoyed dinner together, and left Hoseo University with
fond farewells. The students promised to see each other again in Japan and Korea, and their smiles speak for themselves
that they had a very meaningful time. Some of the students, who seemed nervous at first, were able to enjoy exchanges
with each other in English, Korean and Japanese, using topics such as entertainment, culture and social networking from
each other's countries as a catalyst.

We were reminded that language is only a tool for communication, and that it is essential to have a desire to learn about
the other person and the country first, and then to convey one's own opinions. On the other hand, there are things that
can be conveyed only through language, which is still a tool. It is very gratifying to hear many students with big smiles
on their faces say that they want to learn more English and Korean as a result of this exchange.

We truly hope that the students will leverage this experience to challenge themselves in many more ways and broaden
their horizons. We would like to thank the faculty and students of Hoseo University for hosting our visit.

*This program was conducted as part of the GET Trial and BP Overseas Training.
The GET Trial and BP Overseas Training are overseas training programs that include pre- and post-workshop training,
and this time the participants visited South Korea for five days.
